Program Description
Students can explore issues of relevance to Canada’s past and present through a critical examination of themes such as the environment, nationalism, sovereignty, Indigeneity, diversity, and immigration. Canadian Studies will offer students unparalleled insight into the life and history of Canada, and through the program’s co-op stream, they can get a close look at the role it plays in the world and workplaces today. By pursuing a degree in the co-op stream, students will graduate with 12 months of work experience and a deep understanding of Canada’s national identity.
