Program Description
Students can explore their passion for the environment at the molecular level, studying how the tiniest components of matter have a big effect on the living world. Students' studies in Environmental Chemistry will introduce them to contemporary approaches to identifying contaminants present in the environment, where they come from, how they ended up at a particular site, their cycles and the impact they have on organisms and ecosystems in the environment. In this program, students will learn to understand the big picture of diverse environments by examining its smallest components.
