Philosophy engages with important and enduring questions about the world and the place in it. Studying Philosophy cultivates good reasoning and effective communication. As a Philosophy student at Trent University, students will explore the nature of reality, the limits of knowledge, and systems of value. Students will be challenged to think critically and creatively as they develop their own ideas in relation to a wide range of philosophical perspectives.
