The Fine Art MA program is designed for disciplined artists looking to expand their ideas and practice. Students will challenge themselves creatively by critically analyzing their work, artistic identity, and motivations and ambitions.
They will fully engage with the current practice of being an artist through a personalized study program and regular personal tutorials. As part of a community of artists in the program, students will participate in weekly lectures, seminars, and critiques, benefiting from collaboration with their peers.
The program is led by a team of experienced artists and curators, with guest lectures, workshops, and professional practice seminars aimed at broadening students’ understanding of contemporary art in context.
Full-time students will have access to dedicated studios at Dorset Place in central Brighton, as well as an on-site Fine Art MA gallery space for exhibiting their work to the public.
