Swansea University's three-year Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics covers the most important mathematical concepts in linear and abstract algebra, real and complex analysis, probability and differential equations, and the ways these are applied in game theory, financial markets, cancer modelling, dynamical systems, quantum mechanics, machine learning, data science, and other areas.
Students will master the ideas and logic of mathematics and their applications and acquire a highly desirable set of transferable skills that will set them apart in the employment marketplace.
Students will receive high-quality personalized support through small-group tutorials. Elected student representatives make sure that every student voice is heard. The Swansea University Mathematics student society sponsors frequent social and academic events to bring students and staff together.
