Sport and Exercise Science is equally rooted in Swansea University distant human beginnings and anchored to Their present state. It explores how the human body performs under different levels of pressure and covers broad issues from wider participation in sports, to ethics, sports psychology and nutrition.
Swansea University's three-year combined BSc degree covers a broad base of classical and contemporary theory across both disciplines and has been designed to be fresh and relevant to the wider industry.
Students will work closely in the Exercise Physiology Laboratory which contains a range of exercise ergometers, lung function assessment, blood analysis and muscle function testing equipment. The staff are experts in their areas of mathematics with the majority being recognized by the Higher Education Academy with a Fellowship or Senior Fellowship.
Students will master the ideas and logic of mathematics and their applications and acquire a highly desirable set of transferable skills that will set them apart in the employment marketplace.
