Program Description
Evidence-based and data-driven decision making increasingly characterize operational and funding decisions in the healthcare sector. As a result, there is a growing demand for employees with sound data analytic skills.
This program enables students to become proficient in the practices and techniques used in the employment of healthcare informatics. Students learn how to leverage health data, which anticipates and responds to organizations’ needs. They acquire skills to analyze quantitative and qualitative information to help facilitate health care delivery, patient safety and health, and decision making within and across healthcare facilities and organizations. A focus on the blending of three skills areas: technical, inter-professional and “soft” interpersonal skills, makes this program distinct.
From small businesses to large corporations, globalization has profoundly affected how business works. Customers, competitors and suppliers now come from around the world, and this has created demand for people with an understanding of the global business environment and the skills to do business internationally.
Whether students are recent college or university graduates looking to begin a career in international business, experienced professionals seeking to upgrade their business credentials, or budding entrepreneurs wanting to take their business to the next level, Confederation College’s International Business Management program will equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today’s global marketplace.
This one-year graduate certificate program will prepare learners for opportunities in a broad range of private and public international business environments including private organizations, government departments and agencies, regulatory bodies, professional organizations, and international non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
