With the BSc Mathematics with Business Management, students will challenge themselves as they study a wide range of subject areas, developing their critical thinking and independent learning skills. As they progress, students will discover how mathematics is an integral part of everyday lives.

During their studies at the University of Birmingham, students will learn to apply analytical, statistical and computational skills to formulate, analyse and solve mathematical problems - and crucially, effectively communicate their solution. Preparing students for a career in high-level management, they will also spend a third of their course in the Birmingham Business School, studying the theory and practice of running a business, including economics, marketing and finance. Students will leave equipped with highly sought after skills, easily standing out in a highly competitive job market and ready to confidently take on their chosen career.

Depending on their performance, at the end of year 2, students may have the opportunity to transfer onto the MSci.
