With the MSci Mathematics, students will challenge themselves as they study a wide range of subject areas, developing their critical thinking and independent learning skills. As students progress, they will discover how mathematics is an integral part of everyday lives.

During their studies at the University of Birmingham, students will learn to apply analytical, statistical and computational skills to formulate, analyse and solve mathematical problems - and crucially, effectively communicate their solution.
