The Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in Liberal Arts is designed to meet the needs of students seeking full training in music but who are not interested in pursuing preparation for a specific performance career or public school music teaching career. This degree includes a strong but flexible composite of music studies, as well as required additional studies in the related arts. Music majors admitted to this liberal arts concentration will become knowledgeable in both broad and specific music techniques and other areas of academics. They will be prepared to pursue graduate studies in music and careers in many areas of music and the arts.
