The Law with Chinese  module provides an introduction to China, improving students' understanding and knowledge of China with a particular focus on Chinese culture. The topics covered include: ancient Chinese history, philosophy, religion, language, tea and food culture, festivals, calligraphy and painting, music, traditional medicine, sports and martial arts. Various workshops are organised to promote students’ cultural understanding through their own experiences, such as learning Chinese business etiquette and table manners in a Chinese restaurant, practising Chinese calligraphy and painting with Chinese artists, practising Chinese martial arts with a Taiji master and learning to play a simple piece of music using Chinese musical instruments. Guest speakers are invited to share their expertise with students in the relevant areas of the course.
