The International Foundation Year at Leeds International Study Centre helps students to progress to there chosen undergraduate degree at Leeds Beckett University. They will spend two semesters in the supportive environment of the International Study Centre, working with expert tutors in order to confidently enter the first year of students undergraduate degree at the University.
This module will introduce students to the commercial, political and societal context of public relations and brand communication and will present its history, academic and professional development. They will gain useful insight into the most important theories and concepts in PR and brand communication, and they will analyse the current trends in the industry. Students will study a variety of topics including ethics and professionalism in contemporary public relations and brand management.
