The FIU Global First Year Program combines credit-bearing courses from the first year of a student’s degree with additional support services, instruction tailored to their academic and language level, and cultural experiences, helping to ensure their future success. The Global First Year experience also includes the Career Accelerator program, which provides international students with four semesters of professional development and career guidance, skills-based training, exclusive internship opportunities, workshops, real-world experiences, and cross-cultural group work.
The Liberal Studies B.A. program at FIU offers students the opportunity to choose from four thematic tracks: Health and Human Concerns, Humanities and Cultural Traditions, Law, Business and Society, and Education, Policy and Community. Each track provides a unique focus and prepares students for diverse future job opportunities or graduate school options.
