This applied degree, taught by experienced academics at UWE, provides a solid grounding in the fundamentals of business management with a focus on the international dimensions of business. On successful completion of the course students will be awarded a full BA (Hons) degree.

Students will explore international business theory and practice through a broad range of modules spanning international management, economics, finance and marketing. Key themes of global citizenship run throughout the course, preparing students for work in diverse environments whilst developing their awareness of the challenges and issues faced by people doing business across the world.

The students' learning will be grounded in the external context wherever appropriate through, for example, external speakers and assessments that give students opportunities to test out concepts in practice and to reflect on their own experience of organizations. The practical nature of the course ensures students graduate with real-world skills and experience to succeed in their international career.

This degree gives students a solid platform for a career in business management, but they'll graduate with a skillset relevant to any business career. UWE's graduates have secured roles with employers such as Disney, Bank of Scotland, Airbus and Microsoft. Others are employed across both the private and public sectors, working in the UK and overseas.
