This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre at the University of Sussex followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Sussex. In your International Foundation Year, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The International Foundation Year in Business, Media and Social Sciences will familiarize you with a wide area of study for your intended degree. You will develop your critical thinking skills, creativity, analytical and team working skills, providing you with the most crucial skills required as a successful graduate.

At Sussex, you’ll cover a truly global range of issues, taught by experts. From migration and development, to conflict, inequality and climate change adaptation, we’ll guide you through as you develop your own set of interests and expertise. 

Adding a language to your study of Geography opens up an even more diverse range of global career opportunities. You can also combine studying at Sussex with time spent at a partner university, where you can develop your language skills in everyday life.
