As part of the Faculty of Natural Resources Management, this Environmental Management program will provide students with a sound understanding of natural processes in environmental ecosystems, including a strong background in forest environments and technical experience using industry-standard geomatics tools.
Honors Bachelor of Environmental Management shares a common curriculum with the Honors Bachelor of Science in Forestry for the first two years. Through a specialization, students will delve deeper into the areas of Fish and Wildlife Conservation and Management, Conservation Planning and Management, and Sustainable Land Use.
Upon graduation from Honors Bachelor of Environmental Management, students will be eligible to receive their Environmental Professional Certification from ECO Canada. Students who decide to pursue the Wildlife Conservation and Management specialization, they will be eligible for accreditation as a Certified Wildlife Biologist by the Wildlife Society of America.
